Vintage Red White and Blue hat!  A quite unique and historic silk hat and matching scarf, from legendary American milliner Frank Olive.  Made especially for the Bicentennial celebration in 1976, and was custom made.

Luxurious pure silk,  with a glorious pattern of the Colonial Shield of Stripes on a ground of blue with white stripes… long wave the Red White and Blue!… with stunning golden Eagles in burnished gold.   Over sized classic banded beret can be shaped as you please, and is fully lined.   The matching silk scarf is long and has pointed ends.

 

This wildy patriotic hat is the perfect way to show your love of America and of classic American fashion.  And of course, it is a rare creation by Frank Olive himself, bearing his signature satin couture label.

Condition is excellent.  Clean Fresh and was worn only once for a few hours for a Washington D.C. luncheon, and then lovingly stored in a hatbox where it remained untouched and pristine.
