ANTIQUE MILLINERY SPECIALISTS
HAT HISTORY LECTURES AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Over 30 years of research, and professional millinery training have
led to a successful second career as a teacher of millinery history, public speaker, and millinery consultant. The current portfolio includes a
series of interesting, educational and exciting lectures on various subjects
such as Hat History, Hat Styles Through the Ages, Restoration
Techniques, Famous Milliners and Hat Designers, History of the Feather Trade, and more.
Events can be hosted for corporations, business associations, charity events, and historical societies,
as well as custom shows for smaller groups. And…please ask about our hat themed tea parties!
To highlight an example of the caliber of our presentations, a recent Southern California art gallery show of vintage French
and American Haute Couture hats from our private collection, and which I conceived and produced, was accepted to The Smithsonian Institute’s Art Walk
calendar of events.
The lecture or display can be tailored to
your specifications, or you may choose from the current list of themes.
We will be happy to work within your group or company’s budget to create
a special event that is both affordable and memorable.
